The Austrian National champion and European champion of the 21st International Masters' Award in Make-Up 2008, Elke Griessmayr, has become a make-up pro.

Griessmayr who graduated with a thesis on 'The Visual Image of America' in Art History at the University of Innsbruck in 2004, started as assistant to her sister Andrea Schnaller, herself winning the Austrian National Championship in Make-Up in 2005. Elke Griessmayr has had a life-long love affair with colours and creativity. After studying art-history in Innsbruck (Austria) her art interests had evolved into a full-fledged love of makeup design.
Griessmayr founded her company for Make-Up, serving with a lot of imagination-coupled with highest professionalism-a wide range of customers: In addition to working with photographers, film and television productions, advertising agencies or individuals, type and make-up seminars for individuals or groups are offered.
Griessmayr took over important tasks such as make-up for photo shoots, films, events and weddings, make-up consultations, and seminars from 2006 onwards. She continues to develop her craft and is always open to creating something new and innovative for her clients while, at the same time, supporting their aesthetic vision.
In 2007 Elke Griessmayr took the first step to public success coming third at the Austrian National Championship in Make-Up.
Finally in 2008 she has won by a clear margin with her contribution to 'Romantic Beauty - Shine like a Star': The only one who knew how romantic girliness can be intertwined with glamorous women power and delicate presence with historical accentuations-like a romantic beauty spot in the image of a small butterfly-Griessmayr unanimously convinced the jury of the National Championship with her metamorphosis of a 'Romantic Beauty'.
Since then, Elke Griessmayr is in great demand, working for agencies as well as for elaborate photo shoots with photographers. She has worked in fashion and portrait photography and film.
